Your ACS Volunteer Training Pathway
Progress through five levels as you develop your skills and serve your community.
Level 1 — Foundation Volunteer
Requirement: Complete any 1 Foundation course
You’ve taken your first step. You understand the basics and are ready to participate in supervised ACS activities.
Level 2 — Trained Volunteer
Requirement: Complete all 7 Foundation courses (21 points)
You’ve completed your Foundation training. You can serve independently and are eligible to begin Specialization tracks.
Level 3 — Specialist
Requirement: Foundation complete + 1 Specialization track
You have specialised skills in a specific area of community service. You can lead activities within your specialisation.
Level 4 — Advanced Practitioner
Requirement: Foundation + 3 Specialization tracks
You’re a highly skilled volunteer with expertise across multiple service areas. You can mentor newer volunteers.
Level 5 — ACS Leader
Requirement: Foundation + 5 Specialization tracks + Leadership & Team Coordination
You’re equipped to lead your church’s ACS program. You can coordinate teams, manage events, and represent ACS in your community.
